This is just a sample of a 90- doll project, created May, 2018. Each of these worry dolls are made out of found materials and reside on 3.5 inch circles. Using references from my life, quotes, or colloquialisms, each doll embodies a worry or insecurity of some kind.
They are meant to create a human bond; connecting the viewer to the artist through similar vulnerabilities. The dolls are dressed in recycled fabric and found materials to give them a history and personality, as well as noting on the wastefulness of consumer culture.
