As many of my peers and professors have told me (and I have continually refuse to act on), art and writing often go hand in hand. As any discipline of artist will understand, one has to engage with vulnerability throughout the art making process. While I’ve had years to acclimate to being vulnerable through painting, writing my thoughts down still leaves me a bit raw. My hopes are to declutter thoughts and experiences, as well as pave a way and enrich art to come. I hope you enjoy!
